French Twist Headband

See my full disclosure policy here.

This was a guest post, with supplies provided for free, over at The Ribbon Retreat. I'm reposting it today because this weekend only, all their flowers are on sale for 25% off. Or you can use your own flowers. All the supplies I used are linked to on the Ribbon Retreat's website if you want to buy them there.

It features the French Twist flower from The Ribbon Retreat. Since the flower is already made, this is a snap to put together. I also love the vintage feel that French Veil Netting gives. You can use it in so many ways for hair accessories.

You will need:

I used Jungle Green, Light Rose, and Nude

Pick out three buttons from your Vintage Tin {I believe each one has a unique assortment} and glue them to the centers of your flowers. I held the center of the flower open with one hand and covered the button shank in hot glue, then glued it on.

Glue the flowers to your headband. They come with felt circles attached, which is helpful.

Then glue on three more felt circles on the other side of the headband to secure the flowers in place.

Cut a rectangle of French Veil Netting to your desired size.

Pinch the netting in the center.

Fold it in half and secure with a dab of hot glue.

Glue it behind the flowers and you're done!
