Chocolate Week: Chocolate Banana Bread

My husband and I love chocolate zucchini bread.  The trouble is, zucchini is only around in the summer.  What's a girl to do?  Adapt the recipe, of course!  We always have bananas lying around the house {well, not the house, but they're usually available at any rate!}

For today's recipe, you need:
3 T cocoa
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 c mashed bananas (about 3)
2 eggs
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/3-1/2 of a 12 ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients, then add to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into a bread pan sprayed with cooking spray and bake at 325 for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean {meaning there isn't any runny batter sticking to it}.

I usually just dump everything into one bowl because I'm lazy like that, and it's always turned out yummy for me.
