Easy Neighbor Gift

  This Christmas Fragrance set will have your neighbors' homes smelling wonderful. {And you can keep one for yourself so your home can smell like Christmas too!}

First you need to dehydrate some oranges.  If you have a dehydrator, lucky you.  Use that.  If not, you'll need to use your oven like I did.

Slice the oranges as thinly as possible.  Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 170 degrees, turning every hour or two. Mine took about 12 hours to dry completely.  If you'd rather not have your oven on that long, you can just use a whole orange in the gift bag.

Your oranges should look like this when you're done.

Now grab some whole cloves and a cinnamon stick or two.

And throw everything into a gift bag.  Now all your neighbor needs to do is throw the contents into a pot of simmering water and make their house smell like Christmas. What's also great about these is you can keep a few around so when someone shows up with a gift and they weren't on your list, you can just hand them one instead of scrambling for something at the last minute.  Not that I've ever done that, ha, ha.

I made a simple printable with instructions to attach to the gift bag. If you want the one I used, email me and I'll send it to you. {Printable sheet music found here.}
