Happy New Year everyone! I took a little break from blogging over Christmas, but that doesn't mean I stopped sewing. Now I have several things to post over the next little while. First up, this pretty ruffled scarf. It came from this tutorial from Made.
I used a heavier fabric (just a regular quilting cotton), so the scarf lays a little differently, but I still like the effect.
I made mine a little longer than in the tutorial. I just used 1/2 yard of 45" wide fabric, and cut that into three six-inch strips, for a total of 135 inches long, minus seam allowances (whew, that's a lot of numbers!) It came together really quickly. Hooray for fast projects!
